A&S Associates, Inc. was founded in 1977 by Andrew Pantaleo in Tampa, Florida. Andy believed he could run a successful business manufacturing steel parts for local distributors, and succeed he did.

In March of 2002, we celebrated A&S’s 25th anniversary by enlarging our production facility and management offices at our N. Manhattan Ave. location.

Today, in 2018, we are proud to have been in business for 41 years. We are still family-owned and operated and continue to serve the home-building, garage door, plumbing, and highway safety industries with manufactured steel products.

Through economic ups and downs, we like to think we have honored Andy’s hard work and commitment to the company he founded by continuing to succeed in a competitive, ever-changing market.

A large part of this success is owed to our versatility. Thanks to company leaders Steve Kotranza and James Warner, we have been able to make modifications and improvements to our production machinery over the years. These changes power our ability to produce custom and specialty parts and products for our customers as the need arises.

In certain areas of production, we have been to automate certain processes for efficiency’s sake; however, we always will employ and depend on local manpower to get the job done right. David Ciccaglione joined our team in 2016 and has been a true asset as our new shop manager and leader for our production staff.

Thanks to our ability to manufacture product with both steel sheets and coils, we are able to maintain a vast inventory. This in turn allows us to maintain a constant state of readiness for handing any customer order, even specialty or custom jobs. In the past, this has also protected us and our customers from price changes and volatility in the steel market, such as the one we are entering in March 2018.

We are grateful for our long-term customers and are proud to say we plan to keep serving customers, across Florida and nationwide, well into the 22nd century through our continued hard work and self-improvement.
